Christmas 2008

We had such a great time this year. We have been blessed in so many ways that their is no way to list them all. Its been great with Kirk having 2 weeks off for Christmas. We have been able to tons of fun stuff together as a family. And both Kirk and I have been able to get a few things done around the house.
For Christmas eve dinner we had our good friend Betty over. We all ate pie, song songs, and read the story of Christ birth out of the bible. She read books to the kids while Kirk and I got dessert ready.
Today, the kids got up bright and early. Tait the first at 4:30 am. Of course that didn't fly very well so he was put back to bed for a couple of hours. After pancakes we opened presents and put together 49389072 peaces for their new toys. They had so much fun opening gifts. It was such a great Christmas. Thank you everyone who helped make this day special for our family.
After we decorated some cupcakes with Karen's new cupcake toy, we got all dressed up for sledding. It took forever, but when we eventually got to the hill it was a blast. It was just the right temperature and all of the kids had a really great time. We hope you all had a great holiday.

Check out our cute xmas tree. Our stalkings are all ready for Santa. Our whole family decorated all evening on Thanksgiving. It helped burn the calories, I think! LOL...

Picture Time

I took the kids to the mall today to see Santa. Well he was on a 2 hour lunch so I asked If I could just take some pictures since I spent 38473987293 hours getting them all ready. They looked to cute, but as usual they didn't want to sit still. I got a couple that are cute, but nothing extravaganza. Every year they just get cuter don't you think? We had chick fillet for lunch at the mall, and got to talk to Santa during his lunch break!!

Home alone

Now that Thanksgiving is over, life is getting back to normal. We put our tree up and decorated the house. We are all really excited for December. The kids especially. Kirk is gone this weekend and this week. He's in Chicago for work meetings. It will be another crazy week with no help but we will get by. Thank goodness their are a lot of good Christmas movies on. We are looking forward to Grandma Marcy coming the week after Christmas. She still hasnt seen Mallori. Malli took 5 steps yesturday. She will be walking soon. My last baby is already wanting to grow up.

The Twilight Movie

Ok, So I've read all 4 books plus the Host. I have been obsessed since the first day I started reading them. But now that I have seen the movie too, I have to admit that twilight isn't just fictunal anymore. Its apart of my anatomy. And unfortunately I am obsessed. I'm hoping this will pass soon, it has taken over way to much of my brain space.
But.... The movie was excellent. I was crying so hard in the car trying to explain to Kirk what will happen next. He was laughing so hard.... LOL.... It really was hilariouse and pathetic, but it is what it is. I could talk about this movie all night long, so Im going to make is short so I don't make a fool of myself. For anyone who hasn't read or seen this movie. You have no idea what you are missing and I hope you make some time for it.

The days almost over

Well today was another crazy day. I went to super Saturday and loved it. The message was so incredible and I helped a good friend put together her craft project. I absolutely love being around the women at church. They are so amazing and every single one of them have their own stories to tell and learn from.
Kirk should be arriving home from Aspen any minute. The kids are staying up a little late to see him when he gets home. We just cooked some really good pumpkin seeds, that I seasoned with Emeralds famous seasoning. They are so good. I don't know why it took so long, but we carved our pumpkin today. Its lit on the front porch for dad. We were not home for Halloween so we just didn't get it done. My diet has not been the best this week. A lot of it has to do with not being able to work out due to getting pink eye. We all have runny noises and colds. But its the season I guess.
Well, church is tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to it. It's easy to forget the peace you feel from learning the gospel with your family and spending that important time together. We have missed a few Sundays due to sick kids and traveling. OMGosh, I hope we have clean clothes. Well I better cut this short, I think I have laundry to do. Have a good week everyone.

ALONE

So Kirk is gone this week to Aspen CO. with all of his siblings. I'm sure they are having a great time. I've scheduled the kids at the gym every day so I can get a break and work out. So far so good. I had an awesome workout this morning, and took it easy in the spa for 1/2 hour. Nothing else to exciting is happening. I'm excited for Super Saturday at church this weekend. We all get together for some good food, crafts, inspiring lessons etc. I just need to find a babysitter. That will be the challenging part. Mallori is taking a nap right now, and the kids are all outside playing with Jazzy our cockier spaniel. This is as quite as its going to get today. I'm loving it. We are going to try and go swimming after school today to the rec. center. The kids will love that. I miss my hubby so bad, and cant wait until saturday night when he's home. He better not bring me chocolate. He has a perpenity to sabitosh me. HeeeHeee. O, P.S. I LOST 3.4 LB at WEIGHT WATCHERS THIS WEEK. Bring it on baby. I was so excited. I'm going for 4LB. this week. If I can stay away from taco bell, that is.

THE GYM......

OK So I did it this morning. Bright and early, Monday morning 5 am at the gym in the cycle class. This was a different teacher this time. And boy let me tell you, she was ready to clime the hills. Totally different then the other class, but just as awesome. Then Karen and I sat in the steam room, soaked our feet in the spa, and I got home took a shower and everyone was still sleeping. Except Kirk of course, he's always eager to be the first guy at work I swear. LOL... So I got my ME TIME in before the day even started. I am loving this. Im not dragging those kids to the gym anymore. This is so much better. I cant wait to weigh in tomorrow night at Weight Watchers. I can already feel a difference. Im going for 1 pound. I'll be happy with that right now. I don't think anyone really reads my blogs but It feels good to type whats going on, kind of like a journal. An embarrising journal. O ya, I have to add one more thing. Our new Cocker Spanial peed on Kirks side of the bed and he stepped in dog crap in the middle of the night. I guess the dog is out now... LOL

Here we go!!

I started Weight Watchers today. And dragged my sorry A to the gym with the kiddos. It was kicking and screaming the whole way, but my Darling friend Karen saved the day again. She got me in the cycle room and put on the "lets get pumped" music. And then she took me to experience the steam room, that was WAY to hot. But it also was relaxing, when I was exhaling anyways. Lol... And then some how I got home alive and after putting away 50 tons of groceries, I flew my fat A on the couch with a walmart christmas catilog while the girls showed me everything they HAD to have Or they would die. I can already see the new toys at the bottom of their closet covered in dirty clothes, or out in the backyard for 3 weeks. Is is me or do kids have an attention span of like 1 min. with new toys.
Sorry for being so sarcastic today, But waking up to a ton of snow on my car, eating like nothing today, and working out for the first time in 6476868574 years has got me looking at ordering pizza tonight for dinner.

Halloween

This year was crazy!!! We spent the weekend at the Westgate in Park City. The kids loved it, Kirk and I were ready to go home. The kids were so wild this weekend, I'm sure it had a lot to do with all of the candy. They were really into their costumes this year. Tait especially; he ended up with 4 different types of vampire teeth. He had to find just the right pair. Over all we survived the weekend and know one puked. We did loose Olivia 2 times however. Once in the elevator at Kirks work and again in the hotel when she decided to just leave the room and take off down the hall when know one was watching. But we all made it home safe and together. LOL.....

These are some pictures from our short trip to Wenatchee this fall. It had just been to long since we had seen everyone. The kids had a great time, I on the other hand was so worn out. The drive home was the hardest part of the trip though. The kids got to spend a little time with only a few of their Grandparents. Unfortunatly, we weren't able to see everyone. It felt good to get home after all of that time in the car. Thanks everyone for all of the fun.

This week has been so fun getting ready for Halloween. We have painted baby pumpkins, made fancy Carmel apples and got our costumes all ready. Tait is on his 4 pair of vampire teeth. He is having problems finding just the right fit! Both Karen and Olivia want to be good witches. And mallori is going to be a duck. I got some little red horns and fake eyelashes. I dont really know what I am, but it was cheep and the kids think its funny. Kirk is going to wear Kakis and tennis shoes, for the reasons of making fun of his boss!! lol... Have fun everyone!

This was our vacation this summer to Bear Lake. It was Rockin!!! We had so much fun. We will defiantly try to go back every summer. We were in the water so much. The kids loved every second of the trip.

Its been a while?

I almost forgot I had this blog. I have spent so much time on my photography website and catching up on my myspace with old friends that I've been neglecting everyone else. We'll life is really great. Kirk is so lucky to have a good stable job during these scary times, and I am just working away on my photography, and of course raising these 4 little angels. The kids are growing so fast. The oldest 3 are potty trained, and I just put the baby down in her own crib by herself tonight. YES... LoL... We are headed up to Park City for the Halloween weekend. It will be fun to get out of town for some swimming and barbecuing. Hope everyone is great! I'll post more often...

Summer

This summer has been fun so far. IM NOT PREGNANT. And that has a lot to do with it. I have taken some pictures of the kids being their usual goofy selfs. I picked up a new patio set at a yard sale for $50 bucks and it has made our back deck so much fun. Kirk got some outdoor speakers the deck which have made it another living room for us. We have been spending every evening outside barbecuing. It's been so much fun.

What a Week!

Tait and Karen both had preschool graduations; Tait will be off to kindergarten in the fall. I started Tie quon do with Tait, and I am loving it. I actually get to fight other people and its so much fun. Its an adrenalin rush. Tait had his first T-ball game this morning. It was so much fun. I ran into an old friend named Amy that I knew in Wenatchee. Her son is on the same team. I started a digital scrap booking class at the college. Just one night a week. So far its been fun. Kirk has been going crazy at work. But he got away yesterday at went shooting with some guys from work. He had a great time.
We have been spending a lot of time in our back yard. We absolutely love it. It has tons of trees that make a large canopy over the lawn. So lots of shade. We blew up our bouncy castle and today I picked up a little swimming pool. We got all three of the kids new swim suits, they pretty much live in them these days.
We have started up the barbecue, and kirk is ready to get the shish-kabobs and the burgurs going every weekend. We are really enjoying our cool evenings outside with the kids. They love playing together.
Kirk and I have just figured out that Fathers day and My birthday are the same day. So we have been disputing who gets it easier that day. Im going to make a cake that is split down the middle. One side says happy b-day and the other side says happy dads day. I think it will be a fun day know matter what happens. We hope everyone has a great week, and we miss you all.
P.S. We got tickets the Stone Temple Pilots concert. Wooo Hooo!!! I am so excited.

This Weekend

Laundry, Laundry, Laundry... I don't know if we just have to many clothes, or if my family is actually growing at a rate of speed that has never been seen before. Some one should design a robot for women like me. If men are smart enoph to actually predict the weather, than we should be able to have a machine that can do our laundry. I mean, sort - stain removal- the whole works. Any body with me on this?
